GRADUATION REQUIREMENTS

Students are required to complete 24 Carnegie Units for graduation (beginning with 2005-2006 9^th graders). These 24 Carnegie Units must include the requirements listed under Curriculum Requirements. Grade Point Average will be computed only on Carnegie Units. Electives such as Driver's Education, Annual, etc. will not be figured in the Grade Point Average. Students will begin earning Carnegie Units in the 9^th grade, with the exception of Algebra I, a Foreign Language and a Computer course taught in the 8^th grade. Any exceptions to this must be approved the administration.

20% of Carnegie Units for graduation must be earned at Brookhaven Academy. Students will begin earning Carnegie Units in the 9^th grade. Any exceptions to this must be approved by the administration.
