DUAL ENROLLMENT PROGRAM
Only students
with at least a 3.0 grade point average on a 4.0 scale on all high school
courses are eligible for dual enrollment. Credits earned by students enrolled
in the Dual Enrollment Program are held until regular admission status is
obtained at some college or university.
To be admitted to the Dual Enrollment Program, students must have the
following:

A minimum of fourteen (14) core
high school units;
¨
Application for admission to

Minimum ACT composite score of
sixteen (16) or the equivalent SAT score;
¨
An overall 3.0 grade point average
on a 4.0 scale, or better, on all high school courses, as documented by an
official high school transcript; and
¨
Recommendation form completed by
their high school principal and/or guidance counselor stating ACT score and
GPA.
Courses offered
at this time are English Comp. I, English Comp. II, and
College Algebra. To qualify for
English Comp, a student must have an ACT English score of 16 and for College
Algebra, an ACT Math score of 19 or above.
